As a TV series in general, I have been enjoying True Blood, but mostly because it's one of the few, good, super natural / horror genres that were on TV at the time. I am at the end of season three right now. With that being said, True Blood I started watching True Blood this past weekend. I started watching True Blood this past weekend. Overall it is that kind of series that you can enjoy without knowledge of the books and still appreciate when you have read all of them with the exception of the ending of the final season for both cases.
Later on they create their own stories which I appreciate. The world from the books and the series are both interesting a well crafted. No complaints from my side in this department because most of it is really good. World building / setting: They took much out of the books and improved it with own ideas. The interaction and the development is believable. Characters: I think the actors are well chosen and work well together. Out of the many options they had they chose the worst (Maybe they want to defy expectations). They took out the conspiracy of the Vampire Kings/Queens against each other which lead to an interesting story arc in the books that had many impacts for the characters They chose an ending which angered many fans. There are two changes that I think harm the overall performance.
